It's also quite more violent, Cloud gets slashed up like spaghetti. Sephy even shoves Masamune through Cloud's foot.

i spose thats y he gets tired at the end of the fight? i always thought it was coz he had been out of practise that he wasnt fit enough to keep it going at that pace for that long?

The whole scene gets extended by about 4 minutes, most of it is due to a special appearance.
