Well in the game I named her after me, because she reminds me of my good side. But I prefer the name Aerith over Aerith.

I named her Aeris and only found out about the other name later... I like Aeris better anyway...

I never knew there was another way of spelling it. I just left the default name aeris as it was.

I actually played the Japanese version first but after getting my own version (the European one) I have always named here Aeris. Aerith makes you sound like you've got a lisp

I normally call her Aeris but every once in a blue moon i call her Aerith..it does sound kinda pretty-a delicate touch

I call her whatever. But yes Aerith makes you sound like you have a lisp. Seriously, say it to yourself and listen carefully.
