In FF7 to kill Emerald You need to do A Lot of stuffs. You'll need a lot of time. Firstys you'll need he underater Materia which gotten by morphing a ghost ship. (In the underwater Reactor). If you on't have a morph materia(that happened to me once) its okay because its not that hard to kill Emerald in the time limit. Since I'm already tired of typing I'll do it the easy way.

To kill Emerald look it up in the following FAQs.

I'd try Gamefaqs.com first because I know it is there. Use the platform jumper to get to PS1. Then FF7 will be the first one in the "most viewed FAQs. You won't even have to search for it. I think the FAQ you will need is called "Weapon Guide"

I can't beleive you just said that. KotR is the easiest way to kill Emerald except for using Limits/mime.

KOR will work on Emerald. Occasionally (doesn't remember what triggers it) he will counter with Aire-Tam Storm, but I don't remember what AI stuff that makes that occur.

Or...get 8 Counter Mimes.

I heard that its superattack air tam storm does 1111 damage for each bit of materia each character has so if you have more than 9 materias equipped you are gonna get hurt by air tam storm. If you equip the mystile to two of your characters and have your luck and speed to 255% sometimes air tam storm misses at least one character.

i killed the emerald weapon with 3 master mime,3 master w-summon,3 master knights of round, 3 master final attack,and master phonixs.

Another thing u can use is all lucky sevens, some might think of this a cheat, but if u have exactly 7777 health on 1 of your characters at the beginning of battle he will use 64 (think it is 64 anyway, might be another number) consecutive attacks dealing 7777 per attack. after the battle that this is used in your life will go dwon to 1

It was such a hard fight! I could never beat it but my friend said he could do it easy.. beat him in 5 mins there is a lot of strategy in it, and my friend was super fast at attacking...

Ok here is what you really need to do.I have beaten the Emerald weapon over thirty times so pay attention. First go to the underwater reactor in Junon and morph a ghost ship into a "guide book" Then take that to Kalm. (east of Midgar) Find the Kalm traveler, he is in the second story of one of the houses. He will give you the underwater materia. You must have all of these next items to make the fight easy. It takes a long time and a bit of work. You need your partys ultimate weapons and limits, you need final summon materia. Knights of the round, elixers/ ethers, 3 mime materias, and most importantly your team must be in level 99. That means everybody. To get all this stuff cunsult a item guide. Now for the fight. Pair final summon with phoenix. So if all you're people die Phoenix is summoned and everyone comes back with full health. Go into the battle with everyone level 4 limits full and unleash them. Cast Knights and keep on Miming. Heal when nessacery. Use limits, take some names and kick some ass. Tahts all there is to it, but remember you WILL NOT beat him everytime you try. It takes practice, he can still kill me. Be fast and pay attention to your HP/MP. He still won't be easy you need to be fast, but follow these instructions and victory is inevitable.
