Yes, but just wondering if there was going to be able other type of value for each like some are worth more than others so that the weight will reduce ^^.

I agree with you there. I have always thought that gil looked like gold coins, though.

Yeah, maybe they just change into bigger coins and not bills, like is was in the older days, before the first bills came. Another thing that speaks for that gil is in coin form is all the money spending attacks in the games, they are always attacks with a lot of gold coins.

Well, that's what it looks like in FFX.

If I remember correctly, there's a skill in FFIX that is 'throwing gils' or something like that, and when you throw'em, they seem to do li'l damage in every single part of the enemy. Coins could cause it, not bars or bills.
