FFTA Help

Alright, I've gone through the game, I've beaten 286 missions. However, I'm at a mission called Lucky Charm, which gives me a Rusty Spear, which I need for another Mission, HOWEVER, it requires a Rat Tail, which I don't have, and can't find for the life of me. Is there any way to resolve this, that doesn't require me restarting?

i seem to remember getting a rat tail from one of the missions with the pink-white haired girl but nothing really comes to mind sorry
