Help with X (International/European) please!

Allright so I never got the destruction orb in one temple, and now its' guarded by Dark Shiva who I can't beat for the life of me.

Everything I can think of I'm not strong enough for, and I can't get strong enough without all those things.

Does anyone have advice for me on getting them tough enough to beat dark Shiva without the Aeons I can't get without beating dark shiva?


I am thinking I'll have to restart.. which is upsetting because including all boring hours I've spend playing blitzball i'm 90 hours in.

I defeated dark shiva once through pure luck. She has a very high stat for speed and will make mince meat of a low level party.

I summoned yojimbo and he attacked her with zamnato without me even paying him.

I've defeated her loads of times now with maximum stats as thats the best way to counteract her high speed.

a good way to build up your characters would to go fight in zanarkand ruins for a while and then find the omega ruins and fight down there, the omega ruins are good because you can get a lot of really armours and weapons that you can fully customise...i got a sword for tidus and customised it he he had Overdrive-->AP and Triple overdrive and double AP...i completed the sphere grid with him in about an hr....you can also get genji armour which is break HP, or tetra which u can fully customise 4 slots in the armour...i definetly recomend going there to biuld your character's stats...that or go get yojimbo and get a ton of gil, and jus pay him all your gil and your garanteed to get a zanmato on shiva

I allready have Yojimbo but I've got hardly any gil! so I think it will be excessive leveling up, I'm only 8 blitzball games way from jupiter sigl finally so I'll never have to play the god damn thing again.

You can beat her w/a couple of party members w/fully-opened celestial weapons and who've gone through at least two portions of the sphere grid. Wakka, Tidus and Rikku to begin...having First strike on a weapon is a must, so you may want to include Tidus and Auron w/their weapons with that ability - Sonic Steel and Masamune respectively.

Afterwards - have Rikku mix, Tidus and Wakka use their ODs for blitz ace/Slice & Dice and Attack Reels. If you have another OD w/Rikku and you want to try to mix again - go for it either w/trio of 9999 or Super Uber Guard (or whatever) and keep auto-life on everyone...summoning when you have a chance before Shiva attacks and you should live through it. I think I used the Unicorn lightning guy (can't remember his name now) I don't know if you're able to enter the dungeon and level up like crazy yet, but I really didn't have too much of a problem with it.
