Chrono Cross

Has anyone played this one?
And if so, what did you like/dislike about it?

Did you beat it or no?

Who was your favorite charecter and why?

I liked pretty much everything about it..story was decent, graphics were decent, movie graphics were excellent. Just an all around good game.

I beat it several times, always did new game + so i could get all the best weapons and armor and elements.

My two favorite charecters were Serge and Glenn. I really like the tech where they both slashed the enemy together. One you get both glenn's weapons you can do mass damage with it.

I wish I had it...I've played Chrono Trigger, and I've always wanted to play it's sequel. (Hell, if Lucca's in it that deserves at least a play through!) Many people seem to hate it, but whatever. I'll decide if I like it or not when I play it. I probably won't like it as much as CT, but that would only be because of nostalgia.

Are there any other CT characters in CC? Because I heard Magus/Janus is in it, and that would definitely make me interested.

Since I've never played Chross, I guess I'll answer all these questions for Trigger...

Yes, I've beaten it many times, on the SNES. I haven't finished the PS1 port (horrible loading times, and battles aren't instantaneous anymore...), and on New Game +. I even did so many, that I had multiples of all the Rainbow Equipment for everyone. xD I even beat Lavos in the first chapter to get the 'secret ending' to see the developer's room. It's pretty funny. (Like the FFIV Dev Team Office.)

That tech you mentioned sounds alot like Frog (who is actually Glenn..[COLOR=Black]) and Chrono's X-Strike or whatever it's called. That attack did amazing damage too, of course, but I think my favorite Tech was one of Magus' Triple Techs (which you need items to perform), but I can't remember which one.

But if your post was so long, you can just double post.

CC gets hard for me when you get to be linx but CT is fun i beat that is a couple of months.

I'll admit, it's kinda tough when you play as lynx, although his techs are very very helpful at times. The one drawback is white elements kill you way too fast where as serge was white innate and didn't get injured as bad by white elements.
