in ffx, my levels keep restarting back to 0. i've noticed it does this after i go to the sphere grid. i've tried restarting with a new game & using a different disc, but it still does it. has anyone heard/experienced this before? i have no idea what's wrong with it or what i should do. but it's becoming really aggravating.
help!

That's the idea, the sphere points are meant to be spent on the sphere grid. The idea of levelling up is helping you moving from node to node in th SG.

Yes, yes,...there is nothing wrong with your game. You get Sphere levels and those propel you around the board. You spend them with each movement. 1 for going one space in a new direction - one that you haven't yet traveled, and one going four (4) spaces backwards - in a direction you have already been. Read the tutorial more carefully. That should help. Happy gaming.
