i want tips for world 2..

Keep an eye on your accessories and keep an eye out for what attacks the monsters are using and change your accessories accordingly, you'll find more enemies are using status changing attacks in world 2.

There are alot of dungeons in world 2 that aren't obvious at first. Clues from locales will help you find some of them.

Also in some situations, who you have in your party in certain areas influences certain, events, e.g having locke in your party in Narshe will gain you access to all the locked buildings due to his thief skills.

***It's 'Treasure Hunter'!!!*** :p

If you have a Ribbon - make sure you put it on Celes after you leave the initial island. This will help you a LOT in coming battles.

Also - be sure to save frequently. You don't want to lose 1/2 hr-2 hours of leveling or getting through a difficult-to-navigate dungeon because you forgot to save it when you had the chance.

The Coliseum will become more useful as you gain more and more items from chests and drops/steals from enemies you will encounter. You may also find a former member of your team there from the World of Balance....if you waited for him before leaping to the airship before the world was torn asunder. ;)

Merton and fire shields are a brilliant combo, heals you, destroys your enemy!

If you get the ragarok esper dont choose to make the magicite into a sword as you will lose that esper forever, its far more useful for morphin enemies into items and gogo can mime it as many times as he wants.

no dont listen to him you can learn ultima by fighting 255 battels only using attack with the cursed shield turning it into the palliden sheild

Because you can get as many Ragnarok swords (and therefore as many Lightbringers) in that version without having to give up the Esper, making choosing the sword worthless.

Maybe you should state where you steal them from again Zero - JFTR.

Is it the final form of the 'Kefka Tree'...one of the enemies before you actually fight Kefka?

Anyway - after the tower you end up back outside Kefka's tower again with all the stuffs you plundered from the tower - including a stolen Ragnarok sword (and is it possilbe to get more Atma/Ultima weapons from that tree too???)

@_@ SLEEP..... Gooooooood.

-_-;

^^^ = me working overnights on 2 1/2 hours ATM. @_@

*cough* So, sleep, eh!? I'm still getting Gogo to Lvl. 99 - only about another 120K exp. to go though - so another hour or so. = P

After that I'm heading to Kefka's tower (probableh.) So I'll finally be able to steal something worthwhile :o

I think the esper is alot more usefull than the sword itself. I can think of so many useful items I could get like economizers and exp eggs, not forgetting them behemoths on the veldt which can be morphed into 3 different items.

I'm late to the party but I'll add my two cents: if you haven't done the Fanatics Tower/Cult Of Kefka Tower yet...

when fighting Magimaster (don't think his name is differnet in the GBA version, he's the boss you must fight after getting a relic at the very top of the tower) MAKE SURE you cast Life 3 on all you party members before the boss's HP gets low. And you might want to consider taking Umaro with you...could cast Beserk on 'im in every battle...

I've mentioned this in other threads before but remember guys that the enemies in the fanatic's tower on the higher levels can come out wiv some pretty nasty counter-attacks if you use physical attacks on them.

I dont use umaro for the fanatics tower. But if you go equipped wiv relics which protect against instant death you should fare up alot better against some of those counter-attacks if you decide to use him, ribbons are a must have too.

I tend to go for all the force armour and force shields when i climb this tower for obvious reasons.

I (typically) take the slucker's way out...

yeah, I use the Moogle Charm; when I'm about to fight the Holy(?) Dragon, I equip something else - then re-equip it for the rest of the climb until the top.

It may be the cheap way to do the tower...but its too time-consuming (and dangerous) otherwise IMO. O.O''

Click to expand...

I guess I've been lucky(or something)-I've never had much trouble in The Tower when I bring Umaro along.

Immediately after you get the Falcon airship, go back and get Terra from Mobliz. Then go directly to the Veldt (do not pass go, do not collect 200 gil). Get Gau back and buff him up with all the rages you don't have yet that you just encountered. Powerdemon and Orog from Darryl's tomb are important ones. If you didn't encounter Orogs in Darryl's tomb, go back and run around in the first room. You're bound to run into some.
