Mega Man music

[Zeromus_X]

This thread is here to share your favorite music from any of the Mega Man games. Because Mega Man music rocks (pun intended). Anyone who disagrees will be sent to the X-Zone.

Big list:

Mega Man (eh...didn't like the music for this one):

Wily Castle boss theme
Ending theme (reminds me of Mother music for whatever reason)

Mega Man 2 (this game has teh awesome music):

Beginning theme (different version of Mega Man's ending theme)
Stage selection
Robot Master introduction theme
Metal Man's stage
Air Man's stage
Bubble Man's stage (yes!!)
Quick Man's stage
Flash Man's stage
Wily's Castle 1
Ending theme

Mega Man 3 (and so does this game):

Magnet Man's stage
Gemini Man's stage
Snake Man's stage
Shadow Man's stage
Top Man's stage
Blues' whistle (full)

Mega Man 4 (meh):

Stage selection
Pharoah Man's stage
Skull Man's stage
Dust Man's stage

Mega Man 5 (eh, a little better):

Star Man's stage
Charge Man's stage
Gyro Man's stage
Stone Man's stage
Crystal Man's stage

Mega Man 6 (even more meh):

Yamato Man's stage
Flame Man's stage
Wind Man's stage

Mega Man 7 (this one was really great):

Opening stage
Forte's theme
Password theme
Stage select
Burst Man's stage
Cloud Man's stage
Freeze Man's stage
Shade Man's stage (full)
And Blues' whistle of course!

Mega Man X (this soundtrack rocked):

Opening stage
Zero's theme
Flame Mammoth's stage
Boomer Kuwanger's stage
Chill Penguin's stage
Spark Mandrill's stage (oh yeah)
Storm Eagle's stage
Sigma's Fortress 1
Sigma's Fortress 2
Sigma's Fortress 4
Sigma battle (first form, after the dog)
All ending themes were awesome

Mega Man X2 (this one is also rocktastic):

Opening stage's (and final stage's) theme
Boss theme
Magna Centipede's stage
Bubble Crab's stage (reappears in X5 too, I think..)
Wheel Gator's stage
Dr. Cain's theme
Crystal Snail's stage
Morph Moth's stage
Wire Sponge's stage
X-Hunter base 1
X-Hunter base 3 (Robot Master re-battle stage)
Zero's theme
Sigma battle 1
All ending themes

Mega Man X3 (rather mediocre, but some good tunes):

Gravity Beetle's stage
Blizzard Buffallo's stage
Toxic Seahorse's stage
Crush Crawfish's stage
Vile stage
Sigma's theme
All ending themes

Mega Man X4 (better than X3):

Stage selection
Storm Owl's stage
Cyber Peacock's stage
Magma Dragoon's stage
Jet Stingray's stage (insert witty remark here)
Battle with Double/Colonel/General/Iris (etc.)
All Sigma battles, especially that last one.

Mega Man X5:

Remixes of Wily Boss theme (Mega Man) and Sigma's Henchman battle theme (Mega Man X) basically.

my favorite megaman tune would have to be SPIRAL PEGASUS from (i think) megaman x4.

[John Smith]

Uh... Zeromus.. Could you (please) make a link to youtube or something?

[Zeromus_X]

A link to what?

If you mean Mega Man videos, then here's some:

Mega Man speed run (REALLY glitchy)
Mega Man 2 speed run
Mega Man 3 speed run
Snake Man's stage
Mega Man 4 speed run
Mega Man 5 speed run
Mega Man 6 speed run
Mega Man 7 100% speed run
Mega Man X speed run
Mega Man X2 speed run
Mega Man X3 speed run (with the awesome SNES beginning stage theme)

They're all TAS videos, but that shouldn't be a big deal. You can hear most of the music of every game, so enjoy.

I couldn't find an X4 speed run. What a shame, that game is pretty great.

[Spec Highwind]

Elecman ans Cutman's theme rocks! And why isn't MM8 there?

[Zeromus_X]

I've only started to play MM8.

[Spec Highwind]

It's a great game... I played 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, Battle & Chase, Legends, Legends 2 and Megaman & Bass (GBA)

They are all great ^^

[Zeromus_X]

You haven't played 7? That one was pretty cool.

Well, they're all great, but y'know.

[Spec Highwind]

For which platfrom is MM7?

[Zeromus_X]

SNES. But if you get the Mega Man Anniversary Collection, you can play Mega Man 1-8 on one disc.

[Spec Highwind]

hum... never had a SNES

[Zeromus_X]

Well, that's why if you have a Gamecube or PS2 you can get the Mega Man Anniversary Collection (and I don't know if it's for XBox as well).

[Spec Highwind]

Hum... I have a PS2... But never saw that collection in the stores

[Zeromus_X]

Well, it was released in 2004, so it won't be a new release in stores anymore. But I bought mine for $18 used a while back. Definitely worth it!
