i kinda need help here, well, im not here yet, but i had trouble getting them last time. thats when i deleted my file and started new game.
Can anyone help?

That dungeon did my head in the first time. Best thing to do is get a map from that galbadian soldier outside general caraways mansion.

You have to complete a few tasks beforehand. I cant give exact directions as its been ages since I last played this game, but squall and crew must first fight one of the brothers on his own (far right side of map) then head to the top of the map and examine the location (was it a waterwheel?)

I remember going to the left side of the map and getting squall to examine that location. And once that was completed a bridge to the middle area of the map which leads to the brothers location.

When you fight them make sure you cast float on both of them to stop them regaining hp.

After entering the Tomb, go east whenever you can
Follow the road, you'll end up meeting Sacred the younger brother standing on a pedestal and annoyed by your presence
If you defeat it (or just lower its health considerably) it will run away and the pedestal will rise...
Keep following the way east until you reach a water block, release the chain so the water level is lowered around the tomb...
Again keep going east until you reach the bridge lever and lower it to access the bridge to the tomb, now keep heading straight until you reach a dead end, you'll see the side of the tomb with the bridge leading to it on your right...
Go back and keep following the west way whenever possible and you'll find yourself in front of that bridge and the Tomb of the Unknown King...
You'll have to fight both brothers now, with the difference that they can use special attacks like Mad Cow Special and Minotaur's Mower...

There is a soldier in front of Caraway's Mansion that sells a location displayer if you don't want to get lost, taking wrong ways will get you lost and maybe killed by monsters so it will help to prevent that...

ok, well, i know how to get to them, what really bugs me is that i cant beat them so easlily like i used to.
I dont even remember what i used to make the battle go faster, but i do know using Float helps.
Any idea what lvl i should be at?

lvl isnt a problem cause they are about the same lvl as u are. But what i remember u should aim at the big one first.
The important thing is to aim all attacks on one of them so they cant do their combo attack.

Your own level doesn't matter,
- Cast Float on both of them so they can't heal themselves
- Junction your Elem-Atk to Air elemental magic like Tornado or Aero... If you don't have Earth elemental magic then junction Poison Elemental magic, preferably in the following priority:
1- Quake
2- Bio
3- Aero
- Juction your Elem-Def to Earth elemetal magic like Quake
- You can draw and cast Protect from the Brothers
- Junction an effective Stat-Atk that is more likely to inflict tough enemies

k, thanx. i'll give that a try later, im at school right now.

Hi im new and all but,
I have to say that I hated this part of the game the most

final fantasy always gives the gamer some sort of puzzle in each other their games
this one was by far the hardest ):

ok, sorry...
umm...i lost disc 2...i need to find it! i cant live knowing its gone!
im so.....*insert word here*....I swear...i lose things all the time...
and i cant even find FF8 at any gamestop or EBgames...what the heck?!

O'yea Minotaur has that Mower special attack
Sacred has Mad Cow special but he can't do it without his brother
so go for shorty first :D
