What is the best place to train?

[ChocoboMan]

What is the best place to train?(FFIII)

What is the best place to train. The highest exp. I ever got was 4,000 in the crystal place anybody know there is a better place to train.

[jedi geoff]

what FF?

[dappa]

Sounds like he's talking about ff4

If he is my fave place to train is on the moon

[Zeromus_X]

If on the original version, one solo character in the Moon's Core.

If on the Gameboy Advance version, one solo character with a Ribbon, Hero's Shield, and/or Adamant Armor through the Lunar Ruins. One trip is enough to get even a low level character to at least the 70s, and the extra Exp goes to the party members in the Tower of Prayer as well.

[CiD]

I think on the moon, or if u can manage it the bamuth cave, got many lvls there and if ur lucky good items.

[Yggdrasill]

"Crystal Palace", sounds like he's talking about FFIII to me, although; he could be talking about FFIV. (There's a crystal palace in both of them)
If he is; my favourite place to train in FFIII is Bahamut's Cavern and my favourite place to train in FFIV is the Lunar Ruins.

[ChocoboMan]

oh im talking about ff3 for the DS.(i always forget 2 put the name of the game)

[Zeromus_X]

Well, in that case, a lone character in the Crystal Tower should be fine. You can also abuse the Kum Kum trick, where you let them keep duplicating themselves forever until you have the desired amount of experience points.

[ChocoboMan]

Cool nice idea Zeromus X

[Phoenix Flame]

How much experience is each?

[dappa]

Myself I dont have the ds version and I haven't got really far into the game. I'm at the bit where you have to turn yourself into a midget to go through the midget village.

I take it this kum kum trick works on the original version?

[Zeromus_X]

180 Kum Kum / Crystal Tower / LV46 / 9600HP / 84AT / 30DEF / 3600Gil / 8800EXP
These guys - Black Hole. And Hi-Potions, but that's a given.
- Can cast Death, Breakga and the -aga spells. Have probably very low
vitality so they generally disintergrate as soon as you hit them with a
sword. Oh, and if they have space, they often summon Blucks to fight.

176 Bluck / Crystal Tower / LV44 / 6720 HP / 94 AT / 29 DEF / 1655 Gil / 8400 EX
Black Holes and Lilith Kisses can be stolen from them.
- Fairly non-descript. Just knock 'em down and go home.

Whoops, seemed I mixed them up. Well, basically you kill all the Bluck things the Kum Kum creatures summon for more experience. With a single character, you can see this would add up quite quickly.

As for the original, I don't know if it wouldn't. There's even more space for monsters in that version (six small enemies instead of only three enemies), so maybe they'd give more experience? However, they altered the monsters' stats in the DS version due to there not being as much room on the enemies' side of the battlefield.
