i thought i was the only one. shortly after, i was struck anyway lol
 
Whenever i cant see the screen i just hit the button REALLY fast repeatedly until i see him dodge...so its all good :D
 
No Encounter Armor and moving to the same place solves both of your problems. :D
 
i havent had a problem with the lightning tho :-/ first time i tried i got her sigil and dodge an extra 100 times

I was under the impression that the US version doesn't have Ribbon.

When I'm done with the faq, I'm totally going to continue with my NSG challenge. It looks so fun. Of course, it looks like I'm going to have to steal like a kleptomaniac...

And why would anyone take hundreds of hours when they can do the Don Tonberry trick? Granted, you have to farm more Power Spheres, but leveling up shouldn't take time at all. I guess the trick isn't that well-known?

Edit: I've never gotten that damn Venus Sigil. Gr. My best record is a pathetic 58 or something.

i put up a better Sphere lvling method IMO in the other thread about Warp Sphere's
But sry to hear that you never tasted the Fantasticalness of Lulu's Celestrial weapon :(
 
Maybe someday when I'm not susceptible to lightning-induced seizures I'll try it again. :p What does Lulu's weapon have on it, besides 1 MP cost and Break Damage Limit?
 
i dont remember >.< i never really used her in my party besides against the snail creature in the area conquest and that was on for her overdrive :)
 
Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, One MP Cost, Magic Booster are the abilites. :)
 
Thx for reminding us..i totally blanked >.< i jus never use her unless its for her overdrive since all my ppl's SG is complete i just cast with them :-/
 
She's always in my starting party throughout the game. :D I switch her out with Yuna a LOT. To make sure both of them get their respective grids leveled. For Yunalesca. xD Reflect and Black Magic. :D Oh, and Holy.
 
i start the game off with lulu. she's kind of essential for the fiends with high defense. but as the game goes on it gets easier to level up yuna. then i fill yuna's section up and then use an friend sphere (i think) and transfer across the grid to lulu's location to learn the level 3 black magic spells. then lulu takes a back set and i use yuna for all magic. i also teach yuna steal and use about 3/4 way through her sphere grid.

Yeah, but then they're overlevled. xD I like a challenge. o.o :P

Even if Dark Shiva kicks my ass half of the time because of it. :D
 
The more and more i read about this game and see videos of it, the more i am tempted to purchase it and a ps2 >.<

If it comes down to it, purchase these four games.

FFX, Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, and God of War.

Perfect RPG and Action cross. Keeps you occupied for a WHILE..

And yes. FFX is a reason to buy a PS2. But unless you want to blow a load of money, get the US version. :D

(PAL versions of games rarely work on a US PS2)

THEN the game..

:P

It is fun though. And Penance will keep you occupied for days alone. :D
