New (and improved) favorite Thief thread!

[Phoenix Flame]

My appologies to Marius-78... I jagged her 'Thief' threads...and so I am making a new one for her! = D

Which FF thief do you think was the best?

If you want, please give a brief description of why you think they are the best.

I chose Locke - because he has a heart for other people and is a man of integrity - he keeps his promises and (spoilers) even goes as far as the grave to bring his loved-one back. *sniff...sniff*

What do you think?

[Gackt Camui]

Actually seeing how I have never played the game with Zidane in it...call me a loser or whatever, I chose him because I find his name different. Very original...okay so now you're thinking well what about Rikku and Yuffie, yeah well they are also orginal but guess what? They are annoying as hell! They can take their bubbly selves and go die in a hole. I hate their character.

[Marius]

i think ur thread is cool. locke is my favorite thief. oh yeah reason apoligy accepted.

[dappa]

Really only Locke and Zidane are true thiefs cause that is their true job class.

But i'm going for zidane because he is big hearted and likes to help people while at the same time being a loveable rogue plus being able to nick valuable items from bosses is a must.

[Gackt Camui]

Did you vote for Zidane or are you just chosing him?
And you're right about nicking things from bosses. Especially if they just so happen to be one that is tough.

[Spec Highwind]

Locke is the best character, but I voted for Vaan as the best thief. because I remember a scene near the beginning of the game when he stole something from an archadian without him even noticing.

But Locke is the best character in the FF series <3

Oh, and I wanted to vote for that guy in FFII who only steals from the Empire, and gets some infromation =(

I choose him first then I just voted for him as I write this post.

and as for that thief in the true ff2 I think his name is pavel or something similar spelled.

[Darkreno]

i chose locke he's got a good story and he's hilarious. plus he get the girl in the end. smoooth!!! TREASURE HUNTER!!!!

[Gackt Camui]

Yeah its always awesome to get the girl in the end huh? Such a typical ending. lol.
I would have no idea what his name would be in ff2..I have never played it.

[Marius]

i think he's right i believe it is pavel . if he's mentioning the gba 1 & 2 one i think he is any way

[Gackt Camui]

Very nice...I still vote for Zidane lol

I own the psone version but as far as I know it is the same name for both platforms.

[Gackt Camui]

Can't you find out by searching online?

[dappa]

I own them but cant be bothered to play them to find out anytime soon. My ps2 recently decided to erase all my ps1 gamesaves which really annoyed me.

[Gackt Camui]

Oh that would bother me too. But again can't you just look online?

[Spec Highwind]

His name is Paul in the original NES game, I guess, and Pavel in the PSX and GBA versions.

[Gackt Camui]

Paul...wow thats pretty original. lol

[Tifa-chan]

I personaly say Rikku. I love her personality. She just makes me crack up. Plus because no one else will vote for her *cries* But in all seriousness. I think hers is the best. Not to mention she was right there with Yuna when she needed her. She is such a good friend of Yuna and cares for others. But when her and Brother fight it's halariouse.

[blackrose]

i've played the SNES ff3 and the ff6 4 the GBA. i like locke the best so i chose him but rikku may have been my other choice.

[carlosoto96]

i chose rikku cuz thats my honey.
